Entrepreneurial Series

It can be challenging for small business owners to find the right experts to answer their questions, to subcontract on a project, or to provide needed services at reasonable prices. Our Entrepreneurial Series is designed to support Portland's microbusiness community by helping owners get the access they need to these people and resources, all at reasonable prices.

Morning Meetings happen every weekday. They are free and open to the public. Come into CubeSpace between 9 and 10 a.m. on weekdays to chat with the professional-in-residence about your needs. We promise he or she is there to educate you and give you great advice, not to advertise to you. The available topics are:

The Monthly Workshops are times when business owners can discuss some issues in greater depth. Each workshop costs $20. Check out the Monthly Workshop schedule.

Finally, we host Quarterly Roundtables, which allow business owners to address bigger picture issues that would benefit from some attention from a group of professionals. Each panelist will discuss the topics in a conversational panel format, presenting from their own expertise as well as engaging in dialogue with the other panelists. The two for 2008 are:

  • September: How to Choose the Business Entity that is Right for You
  • January: Managing Your Risk: Disability insurance, health insurance, life insurance and Liability insurance
