Agora (800 square feet)

ag·o·ra [ag-er-uh]
–noun, plural -o·rae [-uh-ree] (in ancient Greece)

  1. a popular political assembly.
  2. the place where such an assembly met, originally a marketplace or public square.
  3. the Agora, the chief marketplace of Athens, center of the city's civic life.

The Agora is CubeSpace's social hub. It does double duty as a break room and meeting space. As a meeting space, it can hold up to 125 people, depending on the kind of the event (fewer people if they are all around tables; more if it is a cocktail party-style event).

This is where you can find many of our Lunch and Learns. The morning meetings for our Entrepreneurial Series are held here. This is a fantastic place to hold a workshop or a lunch- or dinnertime event.

It is a very flexible space -- our members often drop in here to hold informal meetings, and people eat lunch here. If you come to CubeSpace to meet someone, you may find yourself waiting in here, enjoying the coffee or tea and some snacks. People renting the Agora should be aware that folks using workspace will wander through; it is therefore ideal for events which are open to the public or which don't require a lot of privacy.

Agora rents for $100/hour or $600/day for non-members. Members and nonprofits can rent it for $80/hour or $480/day.
